Once upon a time...
...in the long forgotten days of 2014, a bright young lass returned from the frozen wilds of Canada for a brief respite before she set off again in search of greater knowledge. As the snow melted and the days grew long, she searched (at her mother's urging) for a companion with whom she could fritter away the summer. And lo, she did find one, a rugged yet gentle man who shared her love of dogs and cephalopods and cheesecake. Their love blossomed quickly and burned white hot, inseparable as they were that summer. But alas, the frigid north called to her once more, and in her pursuit of scientific mastery, she departed. This would have been the end of our tale, but it seems love that strong could not be so easily extinguished. For two long years, our heroes braved rickety propeller planes, blinding blizzards, and endless airport delays to visit each other. Not even the bitter Halifax cold could stifle their ever-burning love. And when our heroine returned enlightened, diploma in hand, her hero was waiting. The two moved in together, and less than a year later, he knelt down and offered his hand, confident in the fact that from now until the ends of time, they would live happily ever after.

The ceremony begins at 6:30 pm. Cocktail hour begins at 7:00 pm, and the reception starts at 8:00 pm.

The attire is "beach formal," which is to say, something nice that you wouldn't mind getting just a tad sandy.

There is indeed free parking!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Yes, bus will arrive at the Hilton at 5:30pm and leave for Anthony's at 5:45pm

Is the wedding outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktails will be outdoors, followed by an indoor reception.

Travel & Accommodations
Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN)
A small airport only a 3 minute drive from the venue and 10 minutes from downtown New Haven, Tweed is a convenient airport. The downside is that because it is so small, it only caters to flights from Philadelphia. Still, if Philly is a convenient layover destination, it might be worth looking into.
Bradley International Airport (BDL)
Connecticut's International Airport, Bradley, is an hour from downtown New Haven, but has many more options available than Tweed and sometimes a better price. There are nonstop flights from several major North American cities and Aer Lingus offers the cheapest flights to and from Europe.
